a] E-Commerce & Brand Manager, London, UK - Full Time: 5 Days a Week
At Earl of East, we create immersive fragrance and lifestyle experiences designed to bring a little ritual to daily life. What began as a market stall in East London has grown into a multi-category brand with a cult following, known for its considered approach to scent, home, and design. With four retail stores in landmark London locations, an established wholesale presence, and a focus on storytelling-led collaborations, we operate at the intersection of fragrance, culture, and community.
The Role
We’re looking for a strategic and creative E-Commerce & Brand Manager to lead our digital brand experience, ensuring our online presence reflects the same level of care, quality, and storytelling that defines our physical spaces. This role is pivotal in driving customer engagement, retention, and growth through a seamless and elevated omnichannel experience.
Reporting to the Director or Retail & Brand, you will work closely with teams across creative, content, retail, and operations to align brand storytelling with commercial objectives, ensuring our digital touchpoints feel as curated and intentional as our in-store experience.
Key Responsibilities
- E-Commerce & Digital Experience
- Oversee the strategy and execution of Earl of East’s e-commerce platform, ensuring an intuitive and inspiring shopping experience.
- Lead the development of digital merchandising and product storytelling, ensuring key launches, collaborations, and seasonal moments are presented in a way that feels natural and engaging.
- Work with the operations and retail teams to maintain product accuracy, inventory updates, and fulfilment efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the digital customer journey, leveraging UX insights, data analytics, and best-in-class benchmarks.
Brand & Content Strategy
- Own the digital content calendar, ensuring all campaigns, product launches, and editorial storytelling align with our brand pillars: Create, Curate, Collaborate, and Community.
- Work closely with our in-house designer, and photographer to bring the Earl of East aesthetic and voice to life across all digital platforms.
- Ensure our email marketing, paid media, and organic content strategies work in tandem to support both brand awareness and revenue growth.
- Oversee the rollout of digital brand activations, ensuring a seamless omnichannel experience that connects our retail spaces with our online community.
Performance & Growth
- Collaborate with the operational and retail teams to drive traffic and engagement, using data-driven insights to refine strategies.
- Analyse e-commerce and campaign performance, identifying trends and opportunities for optimisation.
- Work with digital agency partners to manage paid media strategies, ensuring they remain brand-led, thoughtful, and effective.
- Stay ahead of emerging digital trends, platform updates, and customer behaviours to keep Earl of East at the forefront of the category.

- Experience in an e-commerce and digital content role within a premium lifestyle, fragrance, or design-led brand.
- A strong creative eye, with an ability to translate brand identity into engaging online experiences.

Earl of East is looking for a dedicated and passionate Store Manager to join our growing team and operate our newest store in London. The role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and a hands-on approach. We are looking for a candidate to inspire others, be able to problem solve and drive sales holistically. The successful candidate will be a skilled professional, able to grace this role with passion, attention to detail and joy.
Purpose of the Role:
The Store Manager will be a natural leader, with a passion and appreciation for our products, partner brands and consultative style of Retail Service which we have industry recognition for. You’ll be responsible for providing inspiration, training, operational leadership, and an ability to set the Retail team up for success to ultimately drive results as though the store is your own. You’ll be confident in sharing knowledge with the wider business including wholesale, production, creative and forging relationships within the wider company.Earl of East Managers are the face of the retail business and the window into everything we do.
As a Store Manager you will have to:

c] Store Supervisor & Workshop Host, London UK, Full or Part-Time: 3-5 Days a week
Earl of East is looking for a Store Supervisor & Workshop Host to join our growing
team, leading by example and ensuring exemplary customer service is delivered
each day. This role is development focused and would suit a candidate looking to
progress within an emerging lifestyle and homeware brand in a studio function or
further managerial progression.
Purpose of the Role:
As Store Supervisor you’ll work closely with the wider management team of
dedicated individuals across the business, who are collectively responsible for
representing the Earl of East brand and its values.
The Store Supervisor will be a natural leader, with a passion and appreciation for our
products, partner brands and style of retail service. You’ll be responsible for
providing inspiration, being to go to for your clusters Earl of East learning, setting the
retail team up for success. Hosting our workshops and taking ownership of this
important part of our company.
The selected candidate will spend a day a quarter in production getting to know the
bones of the company whilst being the cornerstone for leadership in the stores as a
support function for the manager.
Earl of East Supervisors are the face of the retail business and the window into
everything we do.
Responsibilities:

In this role, you will actively seek dialogues with Earl of East customers. You’ll ensure the highest level of service and display and interest and understanding of independent designers and the range of goods we carry and produce.
Purpose of the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate retail assistant located at our Earl of East Kings Cross space. The successful applicant will be part of a team of energetic individuals who are collectively responsible for representing the Earl of East brand and its values and hit retails targets. This is a full-time position and typically you will be required to work weekends, but flexibility is key.
You will assist in keeping the store environment tidy and presentable.
You will welcome guests into the space and forge dialogues with confidence and knowledge to build customer relationships.
The successful candidate will be a skilled professional, able to grace this role with passion, attention to detail and joy.

As Studio Assistant (Maker) you’ll be part of the wider team of dedicated individuals across the business, who are collectively responsible for representing the Earl of East brand and its values. The Studio Assistant (maker) will be a natural team player working collaboratively with other Studio Assistants reporting into the Production Lead.
As Studio Assistant, you'll have to:
Make the entire Earl of East range in our London based studio.
Work alongside your Studio Manager, hitting milestones and KPIs
Coordinate between making different ranges at different stages & ensuring workflow and deadlines are met.
Carry out regular inventory checks and making sure stock levels are adequate.
Adhere to Health and Safety procedures, risk assessments and good manufacturing process (GMP) at all times.
Maintain studio in presentable conditions at all times.
Have excellent organisational, written and presentation skills and attention to detail.
Be vocal part of the studio team and update wider business in weekly meetings.
